I just put munchkin mange down for his nap (he wasn't convinced that he needed one) and had some other stuff to talk about but this is easier and probably less time consuming. My friend Michelle tagged me in her post and as she said, "I must oblige, right?"
Rule #1: The tagged person must write their answers on their blog and replace any questions they dislike with a new question formulated by themselves.
Rule #2: Tag 5 people to do this quiz. The tag-ee must state who tagged them. Hmmmmm...: Kecia, Meredith, Angela and then Stephanie and Jenny (who's blogs are private so it's really only going to be fun for some of us... :)
1. What is one word that can best be used to describe you?

1. What is one word that can best be used to describe you?
Depends on who you ask. People who don't know me very well would probably say quiet or boring. My friends would probably say loud. My dad would say Monica (from friends). My husband might say sympathetic.

2. If you could have a dream come true, would what it be?
I'd really like to participate in an airport scavenger hunt with Peyton Manning. Was that too literal? By the way, did y'all know that Peyton's wife just gave birth to twins? Google is amazing. Naturally our son will marry their daughter thus allowing me to participate in the aforementioned scavenger hunt. It will probably involve a wedding cake and be set to a musical montage a la Notting Hill complete with a car full of people and a press conference.
3. What would you do with a billion dollars?
After working for seven years at a wealth management firm I learned that the best thing to do would be to hire someone to manage my money for me. I would probably create some sort of trust and invest a large sum of money that pays out it's annual dividends as salary for campus ministers in the northwest and funds semester missionaries and scholarships to seminary. A lot of it would just be invested so that we could live off the dividends/annual return/interest. As my boss once said, "5 million could easily net you $150k annually if you stuck it into municipal bonds" So if invested wisely, we could fund all the charitable causes our hearts desire. We'd also pay for the kids' college and all of my family's debt. We'd buy a nice vacation home in Idaho, travel to New Zealand, buy a Bugatti Veyron and a Mazda CX-9, attend stunt driving school, hire Stacey and Clinton from What Not to Wear to replace my wardrobe...Oh, and I'd pay to have our church parking lot paved and lights installed. I'd also remodel the nursery - or at least buy a nice glider rocker for nursing moms to use.
4. What helps to pull you out of a bad mood?
A good laugh or a big hug. Friends or Family are always involved.
5. What is your bedtime routine?
Peel off my clothes, slide into my jammies and slither into bed knowing that Baby Mange will wake up within 30 minutes of me falling asleep. No matter what.
6. What activities did you do in High School? If you could go back, would you do the same or something different?
Volleyball. Volleyball. And more Volleyball. Oh, we watched a lot of movies too. If I could go back, I would probably take more art classes.
7. What kind of books do you read?
I like reading mysteries, Jane Austen, Humor books and Sudoko. I also have a weakness for fluffly christian romances. It's a sickness for which I'm currently in a treatment program. But man...Siri Mitchell and Julie Klassen get me every time.8. How do you see yourself in ten years?
Hopefully a stay at home mom or working for Oregon State University in some form or fashion.
9. What's your favorite piece of clothing you own?
I LOVED my Express Jeans. Alas, I cannot fit my muffin top into my favorite pair anymore. So right now it's my Northface Trail Runners (which have never been running on a trail), my Express Micro Rib Hoodies and my Eddie Bauer Down vest (because it fit me even when I was great with child.
10. What kind of skin care do you use?
Cetaphil Daily Facial Clenser, Beauty Control Skinlogics face scrub, Purpose moisturizer, Bare Escentuals Makeup
11. What's the first thing you do when you wake up?
Feed the kid. Scratch that. I go to the bathroom. (I haven't really kept up on my Kegels lately.)
12. If you could have any job, regardless of income, what would it be?
I don't know. Stay at home mom? Writer? Craft Person? Professional Organizer? Stunt Driver? CIA Agent?
13. If you could pick a new name for yourself, what would it be?
I think I like my name the way it is.
14. If you had to choose between six months of sun or six months or rain, which would you choose?
I never would have said this a year ago but definitely six month of sun. As long as it stayed below 85 degrees and there was occasional cloud cover. The weather in Portland this year has really been a downer.
15. If you could only eat one thing for the next six months, what would it be?
Fruits and vegetables.
16. What is the thing you enjoy about blogging the most?
I like sharing the craziness that happens around here. I also like being able to release my inner sarcastic, dry-humor loving drama queen every once in a while.
17. Do you prefer salty or sweet foods?
Sweet. Next Question.
18. What items are in your purse right now?
2 MB flash drive, 7 hair rubber bands, nail clippers, a velcro strap used for keeping cords corralled, 5 hair clips, 4 bobby pins, 7 paper clips, a blockbuster membership card, four pens, a Sharpie, a pencil, a plastic thingie that turns any bra into a racerback bra, a gift card holder with 8 gift cards and 3 frequent buyer cards in it, chap stick, lip gloss, two round bandaids, a green silk covered button, two of Matt's paychecks from last month (I really need to get to the bank), Sun glasses case - sans sunglasses, wallet, empty plastic baggie (was holding the silk button), a table top purse hanger, a sticker that folded up on itself, a pouch of bacitracin, some of those always clean wipes from Christmas when we drive from Portland to Boise and I had to zero bladder control, 2 light bladder leakage pads (see question #11), an orange note pad and a Buff and Go make-up brush. It's a small purse, I promise.
19. What is the best memory you have of you and the person that tagged you in their 20 questions?
We did a "To Live Is Christ" bible study in her dorm room one year. Or was it Ann's? Did they share it? Either way, Michelle was there and it was fun meeting with those girls every week.
20. What do you watch on television that you know you shouldn't?
How I Met Your Mother. Love. It.
