A few things

I can't wait until the Olympics are over. I'm EXHAUSTED!

Matt's recovery is going well. Two days ago he sneezed and had to take a Vicodin but other than that, he hasn't needed the pain killers since Sunday afternoon. Oh, I take that back. Depending on how he feels, he'll take one at night so he can sleep through the night without any pain.

Seminary starts on Tuesday which we look forward to with less enthusiasm than gall bladder surgery. On the bright side, this is Matt's last year so we look forward to graduation in the spring with much enthusiasm.

I met the cute kids from next door today. They really liked our car (a Mazda 3). The little boy asked about car crashes and I told them that I hurt my arm one time in a car crash. A Horrified look came over his sister's face and she grabbed her arm and asked, "You had your arm cut off?" It took a little convincing to reassure her that my arm was still attached to my body and I healed just fine.

I have some wrinkles on my forehead. I always told myself that when this day came I would be fine. That I looked forward to aging gracefully (both my mother and aunt are beautiful). I'm sad to admit that I almost stopped at the store for anti-wrinkle cream on the way home from work.

Oh, and Kecia, I voted for all of your pictures on the Arkansas website thing. I loved the one with Rebecca's swim goggles.

Thanks Jackie! And don't worry about wrinkles...at least you don't have gray hair, which I already had at your age!
Tell Matt I'm praying for him and not to sneeze anymore. :)
